Sharing
Share one list, not your whole account.
Sharing goes through the standard iOS share sheet, so the people you invite get an ordinary iCloud invitation. They need My List installed to open it — but never an account with me.

Tap share and pick people the way you would share anything else on iPhone or iPad. Nothing leaves the list you chose.

Can edit lets them add, tick, and reorder, and everyone sees the change as it happens. View only hides every control that would change the list, so nobody edits it by accident.

Questions
Before you ask.
Does the person I share with have to pay?
No. Only creating a share needs the subscription. Anyone you invite can view or edit on their own devices for free.
What happens if my subscription lapses?
You keep every list, and everything except creating a new share carries on working. My List warns you seven days before anything changes, and you can always stop a share you created — that is never gated.
Can I use it without iCloud?
Yes. If iCloud is unavailable or you are signed out, lists stay on the device and Settings says so plainly. Sharing needs iCloud, because sharing is iCloud.
Can you read my lists?
No. Your lists sit in your own private iCloud database. I have no access to it, and there is no server of mine in between.
Is there an Android or web version?
No. My List is built on CloudKit and SwiftUI, which is exactly what lets it work without an account of its own — and that ties it to Apple's platforms.
Does a reminder go to everybody?
Yes. The schedule belongs to the list, so every participant is reminded on their own devices. Anyone can silence a list on their own device without changing it for anyone else.
